The Yulee Hornets (10- 5) flattened the Ribault Trojans 32-6 on Tuesday in Jacksonville thanks to a strong start as they pushed toward the district championship game.
At the home of the Paxon Eagles on Jacksonville’s Westside, the Hornets got ahead early with Rheyna Hilton’s sideline touchdown catch and Kenia Huguley’s 20-yard touchdown run.
After their first round bye, Head Coach Shon Howard said the Hornets played fast and disciplined, and overcame some “chippiness” between the two teams.
